Schneider/Daphne H. Schneider Mounds and Habitat Uniting Native Tribes Foundation, Inc. (MAHUNT or MAHUNT) (the "Foundation") is a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation that will operate for the charitable and educational purposes of procuring, restoring, propagating, preserving, perpetuating and paying for isolated natural property(ies)/habitat and archeological/historic resource sites where up to two people at one time per property(ies)/habitat can commune in (near pristine) nature with solitude. The Foundation's intent is to preserve and make available property(ies)/habitat to the general public without restriction of membership by providing different ways and means of experiencing the protected property(ies)/habitat all of which are aimed at making a special deep connection with nature and solitude. No group or individual will be given any greater or lesser rights to access the property(ies)/habitat and the educational activities of the Foundation. The original plot of land that the Foundation will acquire through negotiated contribution from James A. Schneider, the President of MAHUNT, is approximately thirty-eight and one-half (38-1/2) acres in south central Wisconsin (Dane County) (see Exhibits I, II, III, IV and V). The approximately 38.5 acres were appraised for $240,000 as of January 25, 1998, Lloyd A. Schneider's (husband of Daphne H. Schneider and father of James A. Schneider) date of death.
