Eight (8) Native American mounds (Ho-chunk Nation) (see attached diagram - Exhibit VI) encompassing 2.32 acres which according to the United States Department of Interior National Park Service, National Register of Historic Places includes: "The most interesting and unique mound that remains of this group is the enclosure. There were once at least 23 enclosures within unincorporated Dane County and this is one of four known to remain. But this is definitely the most impressive of all that were reported and all that still remain."
